The publication of the names and addresses of gun permit holders in Westchester and Rockland counties, apparently has led to a burglary at the home of one elderly gun owner.

GunmapAccording to a report in Newsday on Sunday, burglars broke into the home of a man in his 70’s and attempted to open his gun safe.

Police are investigating whether or not the publication of the names and addresses of 44,000 gun owners by the Journal News was a factor in the burglary attempt, but the fact that the homeowner’s name was part of that database and that their target was his gun safe is no coincidence.

The Journal News has come under fire from gun ownership advocates and in an bit of irony has hired armed guards to patrol its building, after the initial backlash.

State Sen. Greg Ball (R) is planning on introducing legislation today to make the names of gun owners private.

fox-news-logoTrack Social has announced the winners of their 2012 Facebook awards, and the most commented brand in the world last year was none other than Fox News.  The cable news ratings champ averaged 7443.5 comments per day, which comes out to more than 2.7 million comments for the year.

Fox News was able to do this despite not being the most “liked” cable news channel on Facebook, that goes to CNN with over 4.3 million “likes”, compared to nearly 2.8 million on Fox News.  The liberal MSNBC is barely visible by comparison with just a little over 124,000 “likes” on Facebook, showing that social media isn’t important to the network at all.

Hollywood liberals who never fail to weigh on political topics, especially ones they know nothing about are some of the biggest hypocrites when it comes to gun control.

As they demand an end to guns, they continue to accept movie roles that have them performing acts far more violent than what normally occurs in reality.

This video shows just how hypocritical they are.
